Baylor Softball’s Game with Texas Cancelled Due to Rain

WACO, Texas – With heavy rain fall throughout the Austin and Central Texas region, the field conditions forced Baylor and Texas to cancel the squads’ season finale, ending the regular season for both clubs.

The contest, originally scheduled for an 8 p.m. CT first pitch will not be rescheduled. Baylor has already secured its third-consecutive second place finish in Big 12 play and holds a No. 13 ranking in the NCAA RPI.

The Lady Bears will host a watch party for the NCAA Softball Tournament Selection Show on Sunday, May 15, beginning at 8:30 p.m. in the Stone Room at the Ferrell Center.

The event will be open to the public and the hour-long selection show will begin at 9 p.m. CT on ESPNU.
