A Waco was arrested for leading police on a chase before injuring a woman in a hit-and-run.
According to Waco Police, Anthony Sterling, was pulled over at 6th and Mary for a routine traffic stop. When police approached, Sterling took off leading police on a chase. Officials say that the pursuit was brief, they called it off, because Sterling was driving erratically.
Later in the evening there was a hit-and-run reported at 12h and Clay. When officers arrived, they recognized Sterling's car.
A warrant was issued for Sterling's arrest, he is charged with Failure to Stop and Evading arrest.
