A Waco street has now re-opened after police blocked it off during a standoff.
Authorities said a man threatened to douse himself in gasoline and set himself on fire.
Police officials said the 911 call came in at about 9:35 p.m. Multiple cop cars arrived at the intersection of N. 19th Street and and Reuter Avenue.
The man ended up getting into a standoff with police and locked himself in a car.
Eventually, negotiators were able to talk him out of the car.
One person was put in handcuffs by police and put into the back of a cruiser.
The street was opened again after midnight today.
