A Waco mother and her two sons will receive a record $27.5 million settlement after a Sanderson Farms truck crashed into the back of their car 3 years ago.
The accident happened in November of 2013 when Joshua Perkins fell asleep at the wheel and rear-ended the woman - which knocked them into traffic.
The mother suffered a fractured arm and her youngest son, who was two weeks old, suffered severe brain damage. The oldest boy suffered only minor injuries.
