Officials are still investigating after an active IED was found under a Rosebud-Lott bridge.
Farm to Market 1963 in Rosebud was closed to traffic while authorities worked to neutralize the situation early Tuesday morning.
Officials spent hours investigating after they were told about a suspicious device that could be a home made bomb.
Authorities from Falls County, Rosebud Fire Department, and Alcohol Tobacco Firearm agents worked with other agencies to clear the scene.
Officials say the IED was spotted by a child of a local firefighter. When he saw the suspicious device he called his dad who was in the middle of a meeting with other firefighters.
Officials cleared the threat shortly after 1 a.m.
A Rosebud firefighter said an arrest could possibly be made.
