As water levels in Belton and Stillhouse Hollow Lake rise and rain continues to pour, several parks and camping sites in the area have closed down.
Here is a full list of closures provided by the Corps of Engineers:
- Sparta Valley Park: Closed indefinitely
- Temple Lake (Sandy Point): Closed
- Westcliff Park: Tent sites T-01 through 04; camp sites 1-20 closed through the 31st of May
- Winkler Park: Closed through the 31st of May.
- Roger’s Park: Closed
- McGregor Park: Closed
- Owl Creek Park: Closed
- Horseshoe Bend: Closed
- Live Oak Park: Boat ramp closed
- Dana Peak Park: Sites 21-25, tent sites 01-08, RV Site 01 closed and no new reservations accepted through 31st of May
- Union Grove Park: Sites 34-37 closed through 31st of May
