The McLennan Community College softball team remained eighth in the latest Marucci Sports Division I Softball Rankings, released today by the NJCAA.
Tyler (Texas) continues to hold the top spot, followed by Central Florida in second and Northwest Florida State in third. Indian River State (Florida) and Salt Lake (Utah) round out the top five.
Temple (19th) is the only other Region V North squad to make the poll. Galveston (seventh), Angelina (12th) and Odessa (20th) round out the Texas schools in the poll. Blinn, Howard and Weatherford are all receiving votes.
The Highlassies have an overall record of 33-9 and are 20-4 in conference play.
