A $650,000 bond has been set for a man arrested after an investigation into the November 2015 death of a 9-month-old.

John David Clark was arrested on Wednesday and charged with injury to a child after a nearly five month homicide investigation.

On November 30, 2015, Clark brought 9-month-old Weston Mathers into McLane's Children's Hospital unresponsive.

Mathers later died in the hospital, medical records citing severe head trauma. His remains were then sent to Dallas for an autopsy which ruled the boy's death a homicide.

Clark told police that he had just picked the boy up from a babysitter when he took him home, and he became unresponsive. The suspect was the last and only person with the child at the time.

It's not clear if more charges will be filed against Clark.
