Construction is expected to only leave one lane of southbound I-35 open Wednesday and Thursday night.
On Wednesday two lanes on south I-35 from Main Street to just north of Loop 121 will be closed from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.
Thursday's closures will be from 9 p.m. to 7 a.m.
The southbound main lane will be restricted to the inside and turning lanes.
Belton police say the northbound main lane and north and south frontage roads will not be affected.
Motorists are asked with caution and slow down in the construction areas.
