Waco police are investigating after a shooting Tuesday night.
Police said the shooting happened just before 8:30 p.m. in the 1200 block of Tennessee drive.
After arriving on scene, officers found a man shot multiple times in his lower torso. As of Tuesday night, he was in critical condition at Baylor Scott and White hospital.
Police said the victim, 30-year-old Avery Latroyce Harris, was walking down the street when he was approached by a dark colored truck.
There was at least one man in the bed of the truck that started firing a handgun at Harris, police said.
The shooter, or shooters, fled the scene in the truck and have not been found.
