I-35 re-opened after 18-wheeler crash, shuts down all lanes in Salado

All lanes of I-35 near downtown Salado have re-opened after an 18-wheeler crash, spilled fuel on the highway Friday morning.

Hazmat was called to clear the scene. It took crews nearly four hours before reopening roadways.

While roads were closed traffic was detoured to the access road. TxDOT suggets alternate route from Jarrrell on FM 487 east to SH 95, then north to FM 93, then west back to I-35 in Belton.
