After thirty years of municipal service, Killeen's City Manager Glenn Morrison is retiring.
Morrison has serving the City of Killeen for twenty-seven years.
The City Manager announced his retirement last night at a workshop.
In his announcement Morrison stated that "municipal service has been a rewarding fulfilling career and I am extremely proud of my service to the City of Killeen. Killeen is my home and being apart of the team that serves this great community has been an honor"
Morrison began his career in 1988, as a Recreation Superintendent and worked in a number of positions before becoming city manager in 2012.
He's stepping down, effective next month, no word yet on who will replace him.
