After two days of testimony the jury is set to begin deliberation in the trial of West resident Jay Warren Arnold for aggravated assault and kidnapping tomorrow.
In the final day, the defense called, Arnold's mother and sister to the stand. Arnold also took the stand in his own defense stating he wasn't intoxicated on the night of the alleged assault.
The prosecution recalled Katie Arnold to the stand who testified, her relationship with Jay had been contentious for years. She alleged he started to become violent in 2006, restraining her during arguments and locking her out of the house.
The trial will reconvene in the morning to argue charges, before jurors make their decision.
