Two people are in jail after a Bell County drug bust on Monday.
The Bell County Organized Crime Unit, along with help from Belton, Harker Heights and Temple Police Departments, executed a
drug search warrant in the 400 Block of East Ave P in Belton.
Billy Wayne Mitchell 49 of Belton and Billy Don Clawson 32 of Belton were arrested at
the scene.
During the bust, at least 90 grams of meth with an estimated street value of $8,000.00 was seized along with more than $5,000 in cash.
Both suspects are being held in the Bell County Jail on pending drug and weapons charges.
