The armed standoff in Killeen involving drug agents and police ended on Thursday night.
Officers cleared the scene in the 1400 block of Illinois Avenue before 7 p.m. after learning no one was inside the house a K-9 unit and a SWAT team surrounded.
Officers were serving a federal drug search warrant since 5 a.m. on Thursday.
In the afternoon, they announced through a PA system they had a warrant and warned the woman they believed was inside to come out with her hands up.
Officers broke several windows to look inside and launched several smoke bombs into the backyard.
Police blocked off Illinois Ave. and the surrounding blocks in the neighborhood while the scene was active for the safety of the surrounding community.
