A three-story wood framed building in Temple was heavily damaged after a fire erupted on Saturday.

Fire crews found heavy smoke and fire coming from the front and side of the Regency Rentals building around 12:30 p.m. at 303 South 22nd St.

Preliminary reports indicated one person was possibly inside the building.

After searching the building, officials did not find anyone inside.

No one was injured.

Several juveniles have been identified as persons of interest, but officials say the fire remains under investigation by the Fire Marshal's Office.
