Three Central Texas principals are in the running for top principal in the state.
Jay Fisher from Spring Valley Elementary, Aaron Pena from Woodway Elementary and Nickolas Smith of Woodgate Intermediate have been nominated for the Most Distinguished Principal Award. The winner of the award will represent Texas at the National Distinguished Program in Washington, D.C.
Those schools are all in Midway ISD.
