Three men arrested accused of pulling handgun on resident

The Woodway Public Safety Dept. arrested three men charged with weapon and drug offenses after being accused of pulling a handgun on a resident on Wednesday.

According to the Woodway Public Safety Dept, officers responded to a disturbance near the 8000 block of Briargrove Dr. at 10:25 a.m.

The suspects left the scene but an officer located the suspects and their vehicle by another officer, according to Woodway Public Safety Dept.

Officers said after searching the vehicle, found drugs in the vehicle and the weapon used in the offense.

Wesley Tyrone Wilson, 35, of Waco and Bret Allie Nunley, 34, of Coolage and Danny Jerome Franklin, 36, of Waco were arrested.

Wilson and Nunley were charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and possession of dangerous drugs.

Franklin was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, possession of dangerous drugs and felon in possession of a firearm.
