ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) - Arkansas gets to go against the spread again in its SEC opener against 14th-ranked Texas A&M.
Razorbacks coach Bret Bielema stated his belief in pro-style systems like his going head-to-head against a spread team during a Texas high school coaches' convention last summer. But that hasn't worked out their last two games, with home losses to Toledo and then Texas Tech.
Arkansas now faces the 3-0 Aggies, who have a similar spread offense.
They play Saturday night in the Dallas Cowboys' NFL stadium.
Bielema says it could benefit his defense having gone against the Red Raiders last week. He says there couldn't be any better preparation for Texas A&M.
The Aggies have won the last three games in the series, last year in overtime.
