WACO, Texas (AP) - Police say a homeless man whose body was found in a rain-swollen Central Texas creek died of accidental drowning.
Waco police on Monday identified the victim as 49-year-old Timothy Lee Bonner, who originally was from Oregon.
Police say Bonner over the weekend was sleeping in a tent near a creek when he was swept away by flooding. His body was recovered Saturday morning from the creek behind Baylor University's Floyd Casey Stadium.
Investigators had no immediate information on Bonner's hometown in Oregon.
