Bellmead police were called to an apartment complex in the 4100 block of Bellmead Dr. on Monday after reports that a man was breaking windows.
Officers found someone matching the suspects description a short distance away from the apartment and attempted to talk to the man.
That's when authorities say Shaquille Walker swung at an officer and then tried to run away.
Police used their stun guns to bring Walker down and took him into custody.
He faces multiple charges including assaulting a public servant, evading arrest, and criminal mischief.
