A third trial date will be set for a Waco man accused of sexually assaulting a teenage girl.
Dustin Kinsey is accused of abusing that teen multiple times over a two-year period, starting in 2011.
His first trial in August of 2014 ended with a hung jury. Then Tuesday, a judge declared a mistrial before a jury was even seated because attorneys couldn't find enough prospective panelists who would consider probation as a sentence in the case.
Kinsey is charged with five counts of sexual assault of a child and also indecency with a child. Police learned of the alleged abuse after the victim told a family member Kinsey assaulted her at a South Waco apartment when she was in her early teens.
Kinsey is in the McLennan County Jail awaiting a new trial date with bond set at $100,000.
