One man has been hospitalized after an early morning shooting in Killeen. This was the second shooting in Killeen Sunday morning.
Police responded to a 911 call of multiple shots being fired in the 2300 block of Botanical Drive. When officers arrived, they spoke with witnesses in the area but were unable to find a victim.
Just after 5:30 a.m. Sunday morning, officers were notified that a 28-year-old man was dropped off at Metroplex Hospital with a gunshot wound. The victim was later transported to Baylor Scott & White Memorial Hospital and is said to be stable.
The name of the victim hasn't been released at this time due to the ongoing investigation.
Killeen's Criminal Investigations Division will continue to investigate this incident.
