Authorities are searching for a Crawford area man after clearing the scene after an hours long standoff Wednesday.
A McLennan County Sheriff's Office official tells us the man had surgery recently. He was taking pain medication and acting erratically.
Just about lunchtime, SWAT officers and even a bomb squad were called to a residence off Ole School Pkwy. and Coyote Ln.
But a couple hours later, officials were unable to contact the man, and determined he had left.
Authorities have cleared the scene, and do not believe the public is in any danger.
