Authorities have pulled a truck out of Mouth of the Bosque waters Monday morning, but say there was no body inside, and they believe the truck was just dumped there.

There was no body found in the GMC C5500. Police do not believe someone was inside the truck when it went into the water, but authorities are continuing to search the area. Police believe the vehicle was dumped there, or perhaps stolen.

Authorities found the truck near the Mouth of the Bosque, the area where the Bosque River runs into the Brazos in Cameron Park. A park ranger had checked the area earlier Monday morning, and all was fine. There is a gate across the road to block access to the river.

Police report, when the ranger came back about 7 a.m., the lock on the gate had been cut and there were tracks leading into the river. Responding officers also reported seeing bubbles coming up in the water, and signs of gasoline coming to the surface.

A dive team was called to search the river for the car. The Waco Fire Department is set drag the area.
