WACO, TEXAS — We have now completed our sixth week of high school football, and it is time to vote for our Week Six Primetime Performer! Make sure to cast your vote here!

In no particular order:

-Jake Boozer (QB, Reicher): Our first nominee put on a show on the road this weekend. Boozer went 10-20 for 126 yards and a touchdown through the air, but where he really shined was in the ground game. Boozer ran for 210 yards and five touchdowns, giving him six total on the day in a big win for the Cougars.

-Donavan Blakes (RB, Riesel): Our second nominee ran all over the Bearcats Friday night en route to a five touchdown performance. Blakes averaged more than 16 yards per carry. He wound up with 233 yards rushing. He also blocked a punt in the Indians win over Moody.

-Vance Willis (QB, Temple): Our final nominee shined in our Game of the Week. Willis led Temple to a thrashing of the rival Tigers, airing it out for 291 yards and four touchdowns. He added another 72 yards and a touchdown with his feet. Willis was taken out of the game around halftime.

Vote now! Voting closes Wednesday and the KXXV sports team will surprise the winner at their pep rally on Friday.
