Salado @ Connally: Our second choice would take us to a key matchup in 4A-II. The Salado Eagles soared to early-season success, including dominant wins over Troy, Mexia and Stephenville. This week, Connally will try to clip their wings and assert their dominance in district play.
West @ Whitney: The West Trojans have broken out to a successful start to their 2020 campaign behind star running back Trey Janek. They'll try to keep that momentum going against a Whitney team desperate to bounce back from a slow start and compete for a spot in the playoffs.
