FAYETTEVILLE, AR — Former Texas A&M quarterback Nick Starkel announced Monday he will be transferring to the University of Arkansas to play his remaining two years of football.

Starkel played his first two years at A&M, this last year only appearing in four games.
In those games, he completed 15-22 passes for 169 yards and one touchdown.
The QB announced his decision to leave Texas A&M back in January and will now finish his career as a Razorback under Head Coach Chad Morris.

Starkel will compete for the spot with grad transfer and former SMU and Midway High School QB Ben Hicks.
