COLLEGE STATION, TX — Texas A&M sophomore guard Chennedy Carter had an open reduction, internal fixation of her right little finger as a result of an injury (fracture) that occurred during the Aggies’ regular-season finale against Arkansas. She will miss the upcoming SEC Tournament, but will return in time for the NCAA Tournament.
She begins rehabilitation this weekend with conditioning exercises and hand rehabilitation. She will be evaluated for progressive return to basketball activities in 10 days.
A First-Team All-SEC selection, Carter leads the conference in scoring at 22.5 points per game.
