COLLEGE STATION — The No. 19 Texas A&M men's golf team is set for its debut at theCabo Collegiate, beginning Sunday, March 3 and running through Tuesday March 5. The 14-team, 54-hole tournament will be played at the Querencia Golf Club (par 71/6,898 yards) in San Jose del Cabo, Mexico. The first two rounds will begin at 10 a.m. CT, and the final day of play will see a 9 a.m. CT start time.

"This is our first trip to The Querencia Cabo Collegiate Championship but by all accounts it is one of the best and most fun events of the year," said head coach J.T. Higgins. "The team is really excited to get down there and compete against one of the strongest fields of the season, play a fantastic course and get in some hot, sunny weather. I think this will be a great experience for them to see what it is like South of the Border."

Sophomore Walker Lee led the Aggies their last time out, earning a second-place finish at the Burns Intercollegiate in Hawai'i just over a week ago. His 9-under performance helped A&M to a second-place team finish as well. Senior Chandler Phillips and freshman Sam Bennett also finished the tournament hitting under par to add 22nd- and 30th-place finishes, respectively. Phillips had a strong start to the season, winning the Arizona Intercollegiate in record-setting fashion.

Junior Dan Erickson and sophomore Ramsey Reese will round out the Aggie's lineup in Mexico this week. Erickson also competed with the team in Hawai'i, while Reese competed as an individual.
