Former Dallas Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett has agreed to become the offensive coordinator for the New York Giants, according to Ed Werder of ESPN.

Garrett has history with the Giants. He is a former New York Giants backup quarterback.

He will be under the leadership of first-year head coach Joe Judge.

Garrett spent a decade as head coach with the Cowboys, who are the Giants' NFC East rivals.

The Giants have not yet confirmed the hire.
