Ezekiel Elliott will pay for the funeral expenses of a St. Louis football player killed over the weekend.
ESPN reported that Elliott, running back for the Dallas Cowboys, will pay for the funeral expenses of Jaylon McKenzie, a promising eighth-grade football player killed by a stray bullet.
Elliott reached out to the family after the accident. According to ESPN, McKenzie died after leaving a party near St. Louis on Saturday when a fight broke out.
McKenzie was already being offered college scholarships as an eighth-grader.
