UMHB Women's Basketball's Holt named to All-America Team

BELTON, TX — University of Mary Hardin-Baylor women’s basketball player Hannah Holt has been named to the D3hoops.com All-America Team released Saturday evening (March 16th). Holt was an Honorable Mention selection

Holt, a junior guard from Lumberton High School, led the Cru in scoring at 15.5 points per game and she grabbed 5.3 rebounds per contest. Holt shot 44 percent from the field and 33 percent from three-point range. She also added 64 assists and 45 steals on the season. Holt was voted to the American Southwest Conference All-Conference Team and ASC All-West Division First Team this spring. She was ASC West Division Player of the Year and was named to the ASC West Division All-Defensive Team. Holt was named to the D3hoops.com All-South Region Team on Monday and also earned Honorable Mention All-America honors from the WBCA earlier this week. She is the first UMHB women’s basketball player to earn D3hoops.com All-America honors in program history.

The Cru women finished 27-4 overall and won the ASC West Division with a 15-1 league record. UMHB advanced to the NCAA Division III National Championships for the first time in program history and went three rounds deep before falling to Washington-St. Louis in the Sectional Tournament.
