UMHB volleyball to host summer camps

BELTON, TX — The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor volleyball program has announced dates for the 2019 summer camps and skills clinics hosted in the Mayborn Campus Center in Belton.

The 2019 Elite Overnight Camp will be July 14-16 and is open to college-bound athletes graduating in 2019, 2020, 2021 or 2022. The camp costs $325 for people staying in a dorm or $250 for commuter campers. with registration due July 10th. Cost of the camp covers housing, meals, UMHB insurance on on-court training.

The 2019 All Skills Camp will run July 22-25 and is open to campers entering 6th-9thgrades. The camp is $175 and will run from 9 am-11:30 am each day. The registration deadline for the All Skills Camp is July 21st.

The 2019 Individual Skills One-Day Clinics will run from July 17-19 from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm each day. Each session is $110 and feature libero skills (July 17th), setting (July 18th) and attacking (July 19th). The deadline for registering for the one-day clinics is July 14th.

“We are really excited to get our camp dates out and gear up for a productive summer camp experience with every volleyballer that walks onto campus,” UMHB Head Volleyball Coach Mark Pryor said. “We have created multiple opportunities for all skill levels to get a chance to get to campus, train at a high level, and help them get ready for their middle school or high school season, all the while enjoying being on our beautiful campus and getting a small glimpse of the UMHB experience. We will have everything from one day clinics, week long day camps, commuter opportunities, and even an overnight camp so players can really pick and choose what works best for them. We are looking forward to creating a very fun and productive summer camp experience.”
