WACO, TX — The McLennan Highlanders are ranked sixth, jumping two spots this week, in the NJCAA Division I Baseball Poll.
Central Florida moved into the top spot this week followed by Walters State (Tennessee) in second and Wabash Valley (Illinois) in third. Southern Nevada and Cochise (Arizona) round out the top five.
Weatherford, a conference competitor of the Highlanders, is tied for 18th this week. Panola, from the other Texas region, is 20th. Odessa and Navarro are receiving votes.
McLennan continues conference play tomorrow, traveling to Gainesville to face North Central in a 1 p.m. doubleheader.
