IRVING, Texas — No. 3 Baylor volleyball’s Hannah Lockin was named the Big 12 Co-Offensive Player of the Week, announced by the conference office Monday afternoon.

Sharing the honor with TCU’s Julia Adams, Lockin earned her fifth career weekly honor and third award of the season.

The Des Moines, Iowa, native led the Big 12 with 42 assists in the Bears’ 3-0 sweep at Texas Tech last Saturday. Leading the league with 14 assists per set, she aided three Bears in reaching double-digit kills and helped BU hit a season-best .396 against the Red Raiders.

Lockin also recorded her 10th double-double of the season after adding a match-high 14 digs.

Her efforts helped BU lead the league in hitting percentage, kills per set and assists per set last week.

Her honor gives Baylor 10 Big 12 awards this season. The 2017 squad still holds the single-season program record with 15 honors.

Third-ranked Baylor (20-1, 10-1 Big 12) will host Kansas (7-14, 3-8 Big 12) on Wednesday at the Ferrell Center. The match will be televised at 7 p.m. CT on Big 12 Now on ESPN+.
