WACO, TEXAS — The Baylor Lady Bears returned to practice today, looking to duplicate last season's success.

Baylor enters the season ranked No. 2 in the country behind the University of Oregon.

Senior forward Lauren Cox made her return to the court after injuring her knee in the National Championship game. She said even after the three-plus hour practice, she is feeling fine.

That is exciting news for a Baylor team poised to make another run for the title.

"They're not entitled to anything," Head Coach Kim Mulkey said. "If they're not hungry this year, we won't have a very good year. If they're hungry and they throw that national championship to the side and say 'hey. I'd like to do this again this year and go to New Orleans and stay hungry, they just might do it."

The Lady Bears open the season Nov. 5 against New Hampshire.

Practice tomorrow is open to the public. It will be at 1:30 p.m. in the Ferrell Center.
