WACO, TX — The Big 12 Conference announced the 2019 All-Big 12 Individual Women’s Tennis postseason awards Wednesday, and four Baylor players were honored for their performances on the court.

Sophomore Livia Kraus and junior Jessica Hinojosa each earned second-team honors for their play on the singles court. Kraus collected a 15-10 dual-match record on the season and a 4-4 mark in Big 12 Conference play. It was the second time that Kraus has been honored with a postseason honor from the league after earning All-Freshman Team honors last season.

Hinojosa went 15-11 in singles play in dual competition with a 3-5 record in Big 12 play. Wednesday’s honor was also her second selection as she was an All-Freshman Team selection in 2017.

Junior Angie Shakhraichuk and sophomore Kristina Sorokolet teamed up late in the season on the doubles court, but it was enough to garner second-team honors in doubles after the pair went 2-2 on the season and 2-0 in league play.

The second-team selection marked the first postseason honor for Shakhraichuk and the second for Sorokolet, who was a member of the All-Freshman Team last year.
