WACO, TX — ESPN's College Gameday is returning to Waco for the second time in three months. The traveling program will originate from the Ferrell Center prior to Baylor basketball's Feb. 22 game against Kansas.

Baylor will become the first school since Michigan State in 2015-16 to host the College Gameday program for both football and basketball in the same academic year. This marks the ninth time a school will host College Gameday for football and basketball in the same season since the basketball program debuted in 2005.

Baylor has hosted College Gameday four times previously, including once for basketball. The Bears welcomed the basketball version first on March 5, 2011, prior to a matchup against in-state rival Texas. College Gameday basketball sites were pre-determined from launch in 2005 until prior to the 2014-15 season, when ESPN announced the basketball location would be chosen each week.

BU first hosted College Gameday's football version on Dec. 6, 2014, prior to the Bears' win over Kansas State to secure a second consecutive Big 12 championship. The gridiron Bears also hosted College Gameday for matchups against Oklahoma on Nov. 15, 2015 and Nov. 16, 2019.

The award-winning show is in its 16th season of basketball coverage. Host Rece Davis is joined by analysts Jay Bilas, LaPhonso Ellis and Seth Greenberg for an hour-long show beginning at 10 a.m. CT on ESPN. Immediately following the show, Dan Shulman, Bilas and Holly Rowe will be on the call for a matchup of the Big 12's top two teams, as No. 1 Baylor takes on No. 3 Kansas at 11 a.m. CT on ESPN.

Fans with tickets to the game are encouraged to fill the Ferrell Center prior to the start of College Gameday at 10 a.m. Only those with game tickets will be admitted to the Ferrell Center. General public tickets are sold out, but a limited number of faculty-staff tickets will be available at the ticket office on game day.

Additional information on student ticket distribution will be announced in the coming days.
