BU's London Takes Second in 400 at “The Match”

WACO, TEXAS — Baylor alum Wil London finished as the runner-up in the 400 meters with a time of 45.39 Monday afternoon at The Match: USA vs Europe in Minsk, Belarus.

London, a product of Waco, finished .26 seconds behind USA teammate Michael Cherry (45.13) and .66 ahead of third-place finisher Davide Re of Europe. London came away with seven points for the United States, while Cherry put up nine points.

Current Baylor student-athlete KC Lightfoot and former Bear Tiffani McReynolds will take the stage Tuesday in Belarus with the men’s pole vault (11:03 a.m. CT) and women’s 100-meter hurdles (1:18 p.m. CT).
