WACO, TX — The No. 46-ranked Baylor women’s tennis team will play its second Top 25 Big 10 school Sunday when the Bears face No. 14 Ohio State Sunday at 11 a.m. at the Stickney Tennis Center.

Baylor fell 7-0 to No. 21 Michigan Friday in Ann Arbor, Mich. but only had four active players to run out against the Wolverines. Baylor’s loss dropped the team to 5-9 on the season and the Bears’ losing streak reached eight matches.

The Buckeyes are on a roll coming into Sunday’s match as winners of seven-straight matches, and Ohio State is 10-2 overall. Last season, Baylor defeated Ohio State to even the all-time series at three matches apiece when the Bears won 4-1 in Waco March 2.

OSU features the No. 48-ranked singles player in the nation in Kolie Allen. She is 11-1 on the season in dual play on the singles court. Baylor’s Livia Kraus ranks 67th on the national singles list, but her status for Sunday is questionable after missing Friday’s match at Michigan.
