WACO, TX — TCU handed Baylor a 6-1 loss Thursday at the Hurd Tennis Center taking the doubles point and five of six singles matches.
The Horned Frogs sealed the win when Addy Guevara picked up the fourth point for TCU on the No. 6 singles court with a 6-0, 6-2 win over Katelyn Parker.
Kristina Sorokolet picked up the 15th win of her career in dual-match singles play. She downed TCU’s Kate Paulus, 6-0, 6-3. All singles matches were decided in two sets, but Jessica Hinojosa took TCU’s Aleksa Cveticanin to a tiebreaker in set two, falling 7-5, 7-6 (X-X).
