WACO, TX — Coming off successful freshman seasons, Matthew Moorer and Alyssa Miller are set to compete Saturday and Sunday at the 2019 USATF U20 Outdoor Championships at the Ansin Sports Complex in Miramar, Fla.

“Both Matthew and Alyssa have had very successful freshman years,” head coach Todd Harbour said. “This is a great opportunity to finish on a strong note.”

Moorer is scheduled to run in heat three of the 400 meters prelims Saturday at 1:56 p.m. CT. The Ypsilanti, Mich., native was a two-time All-American this season running on the indoor and outdoor 4x400-meter relay teams. He and the 4x4 took home the Big 12 Championship indoors, and he was also All-Big 12 in the 400 meters at both the indoor and outdoor championships.

Miller, a product of McKinney, Texas, will compete in the high jump Sunday at 3 p.m. CT. She earned All-Big 12 honors in both the high jump and pentathlon at the indoor conference championships.
