Baylor Track & Field: London, Paquette Set for Pan Am Games

London will run the 400 meters and 4x4; Paquette will compete in the 5,000 meters.

WACO, TX — Former Baylor track & field athletes Wil London and Lauren (Hagans) Paquette will compete this week at the 2019 Pan American Games in Lima, Peru.

London will run in the semifinals of the men’s 400 meters Wednesday (Aug. 7) at 3:40 p.m. CT and the semifinals of the men’s 4x400-meter relay Friday (Aug. 9) at 3:10 p.m. CT. The finals of the 400 meters will be Thursday (Aug. 8) at 5:20 p.m. CT, and the 4x400-meter relay finals will be Saturday (Aug. 10) at 4:54 p.m. CT.

Paquette, who was announced last week as a member of the Baylor Athletics Hall of Fame Class of 2019, will take the stage on Friday at 6:20 p.m. CT in the women’s 5,000 meters.

London and Paquette are both competing for the United States team, which is being coached by Baylor track & field associate head coach Mike Ford.
