WACO, TX — Baylor (17-27, 2-14) fell 4-0 to Iowa State (27-18, 4-8) Saturday afternoon at Getterman Stadium.

Baylor got on the board in the bottom of the second inning. Taylor Ellis led things off with a single up the middle. She moved to second on a sacrifice bunt by Ana Watson. That brought Lou Gilbert to the plate who hit a slow roller back to the pitcher. The Iowa State first baseman couldn’t field the throw, though, which allowed Ellis to score and Gilbert to advance all the way to third base.

Regan Green got the start in the circle for Senior Day. Kassidy Krupit came on in relief in the second inning and held the Cyclones scoreless while giving up three hits with a strikeout through 4.1 innings of work. Sidney Holman came in to close things down in the seventh inning and retired three-straight Iowa State batters.
