WACO, TX — A Baylor fraternity has been temporarily suspended after two off-campus parties resulted in a student testing positive for COVID-19.

In a message to students, Vice President for Student Life Kevin Jackson said, "We strongly encourage anyone who was at one of these gatherings to immediately self-quarantine and seek testing through Baylor Health Services."

The Phi Gamma Delta temporarily suspended its Kappa Chapter at Baylor and is listed as inactive under the Interfraternity Council page.

The university is encouraging students who see "any activity that does not support Baylor's COVID-19 prevention or mitigation efforts" to report it online.
