COOS COUNTY, OR — A K-9 in Oregon was hit by 200 porcupine quills while he was tracking a suspect.
K-9 Odin was brought to help after a suspect who was being served ran away from a deputy.
During a long and active track, Odin ran into a porcupine and was hit in the mouth and face with its quills.
Odin was rushed to a local animal hospital where he was sedated and treated for over two hours.
The sheriff's office said the suspect is still on the loose.
