WACO, TX  — A woman claiming to be from Waco has been identified...and she isn't from Waco.

According to the East Pennsboro Township Police Department, they were seeking the public's help in identifying a woman who was struck by a vehicle in October 2018 in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania.

Since October, police have been in contact with the woman and are attempting to identify her.

The woman was identified and was found to have an active warrant out of Maryland.

She claimed her name is Wilma Chambers or Debra Wilma Chambers. She has provided police with two dates of birth making her either 74 or 76-years-old, but she says she is 69-years-old.

The woman claims to be from Waco, but police were not able to locate any relatives. She is unable to produce identification or have a social security number.

The names and dates of birth that she has given have been checked in all 50 states with no results.

Her fingerprints have been scanned, but there are no results.
