BOWIE, MD — A Maryland theme park is giving away a cash prize to the couple who can last 30 hours in a coffin.
Six Flags America is putting a new twist on their 30-hour coffin challenge. Six couples will be laid to rest at 4 p.m. on Friday, September 27 and resurrected at 10 p.m. on Saturday, September 28.
No technology will be allowed outside of designated break times, meaning no music or Candy Crush to pass the time.
Couples can be siblings, cousins, friends, lovers, etc., according to the theme park.
The winning duo will receive a $600 cash prize, two 2020 Gold Season Passes for each couple, and a Fright Fest Prize package.
Registration ends at midnight on September 20, and the lucky couples will be notified on Saturday, September 21.
All couples must be willing and able to travel to Maryland at their own expense.
