Technology is helping treat the first person with the Wuhan Coronavirus in the United States.

The man was diagnosed with the virus on Monday after a recent visit to Wuhan, China.

He arrived to providence regional medical center in Everett, Washington in a special gurney called an isopod.

The gurney helps to keep patients away from others in the hospital.

Since he has to be isolated-- only a limited amount of nursing staff is exposed to him.

The hospital says the robot is helping doctors take the man's vitals and communicate with him through a large screen.

As of Thursday-- the man was in stable condition.
